Mono Renditionizer
Pog’s Mono Renditionizer v3.1 (2006-01-01) - WINDOWS ONLY
2007/11/12 - new version available: Pog’s Mono Renditionizer v3.91
Don’t let the version number fool you. If a real programmer had made this, it would probably be at v0.2. This is my first ever released plugin but it does do a decent job and has some of the typical bells and whistles. Basically, it’s a channel mixer with a few twists. Not that you couldn’t do any of this in Photoshop itself, of course. The idea was convenience!
I intend to add the ability to apply adjustable Sigmoid (”S”) curves to each channel and have a better way to handle clipping introduced by the filter.

This plugin should work with any Windows application capable of hosting Photoshop-compatible plugins. Due to my limitations… not those of my development environment …this plugin only support 8-bit RGBA images. I’ve done my best to ensure quality output (floating point variables, etc) but this is free for your use (private and commercial)… so don’t expect miracles!
Before your image application can use a plugin, you must download it (duh!), unzip it, and move the contents to your plugins folder. That folder is usually located in your program’s directory along with the rest of the files that make your application work. Generally, you need to restart the image program for the new plugins to recognized. To use a plugin, select it from the list of custom filters which is usually found on one of the top drop-down menus.
Use this plugin as you see fit. No attribution or compensation is required.

Thanks mate I’ll give it a shot.

Works Great! Thanks.
Would it be possible to add buttons to defeat the bluring and tinting functions when using ‘random’?
