Mono Renditionizer Updated To 3.91

I finally got around to this update… the main differences are that you can:

  • cook the image a bit before sending the data on for channel mixing
  • bring back the image’s original coloring
  • maybe run this under Vista and possibly even the latest Mac OS

Also, I should clarify what “Mixer Blurring” does. Basically, the slider next to those words specifies the radius of the overall blur. The sliders below influence what amount of this blur gets applied for that channel. This directly relates to the set of sliders on the left, in the mixer itself.

    Start with the input image:

    With default processing:

    default screen shot

Download the zipped .8bf plugin… zipped plugin
Just to be clear, this is free software that you are welcome to use at your own risk. If you feel inclined to reward me, I’m still using Mozy for online backups. I think a few things have changed over there but they still run their referral program for free accounts… and I can always use more space: read my earlier entry about Mozy

For instructions on what to do with an .8bf, I refer you to The Plugin Site.

    Enjoy!
